Gas Station Canopy Collapses Following Snowstorm
The Marathon gas station canopy fell on Sunday morning, police said.

CARY, IL — No one was injured when the canopy at a gas station collapsed Sunday morning.
Emergency personnel were called to the Marathon gas station at 8 E. Main Street in Cary at about 10 a.m. following the collapse, Scott Naydenoff, deputy chief with the Cary Police Department, told Patch.
A gas station employee requested fire station employees respond to make "there wasn't any damage to the gas pumps the canopy fell on," Naydenoff said.

"Those pumps were not in service when the canopy collapsed," he said "They have been out of service since the storm in August because the wind made the canopy unstable."
No one was injured in the incident, Naydenoff said.
