CARY, IL — Drivers with places to go on Sunday morning may need to adjust their routes as the annual Hillstriders Running Club will host its annual half marathon on Sunday.

The Village of Cary announced Wednesday that Three Oaks Road will experience significant vehicle traffic impacts between 8-11:30 a.m. due to the race. The affected areas include stretches of Three Oaks Road and First Street, east to Hickory Nut Grove Road, north to Rawson Bridge Road, and west to West Rawson Bridge Road.

The affected roads will all be included within these boundaries, including but not limited to Crystal Lake Avenue, village officials said. Drivers should plan to see alternative routes during the 3 ½-hour period, the village has advised.
