More Details Released On What Caused Deaths Of Newlyweds In Parked Car
Police revealed how they believe Brandon and Rachel Dumovich died on Oct. 6.
HARVARD, IL — The manner of death for the newlyweds found dead in a car parked in traffic in Harvard last month has been released.
A murder-suicide claimed the lives of Brandon Dumovich, 29, and Rachel Dumovich, 30, who were just a week shy of celebrating their first wedding anniversary, authorities said Thursday. Harvard police say Brandon Dumovich fatally shot Rachel Dumovich and then took his own life.
Police found their bodies when going to check on a car parked in traffic in the 700 block of Division Street with its hazard lights at about 11:50 p.m. on Oct. 6. A gun was found in the vehicle, police said.
