It's starting to look a lot like Christmas in and around northern Illinois.

Snow has blanketed northern Illinois, and Patch.com readers have taken some time out from their busy schedules to get out and enjoy the scenery. We asked readers to share some of their photos from this past weekend's snowstorm and here's some of the fun pictures they passed along.

Kari Christensen shared this photo from Saturday. "I had to take someone to Sherman Hospital for an appointment on Saturday morning. Instead of waiting inside, I walked around the lake at Sherman Hospital. It really is a lovely spot to appreciate life and get some exercise," she said.
