Roads Could be Very Slick with Light Snow and Cold Friday Morning
If you're headed out to do some early Black Friday shopping in northern Illinois, be careful, warns the National Weather Service.

A two to three hour period of light snow is expected early Friday morning, falling from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. across the northern suburbs, from Woodstock to Waukegan, reports the National Weather Service. Very brief periods of moderate intensity snow leading to quick reductions in visibility could occur, according to the NWS. Though any accumulation is forecast to be under an inch, and likely closer to a dusting, cold temperatures could aid in making some roads slick. Motorists, including those early morning shoppers in far northern Illinios, should plan for possible longer travel times early Friday morning.
