Huge Campbell’s Soup Collection 

Oh, wow, it’s like a look directly into Andy Warhol’s brain! Someone in Downers Grove is selling their entire Campbell’s Soup collectibles collection, over 40 pieces of various Campbell’s memorabilia, for $375. “I love my Campbell Soup, but am ready for a change!” the seller proclaims. To what, Progresso?

Life-Size Stuffed Clown

Somewhere along the line, it became generally accepted that clowns are no longer funny and are now universally considered creepy. (Do we all blame J. W. Gacy for that one?) If so, this guy is six feet of fluff, fixed grin and pure unadulterated terror for your coulrophobic kids. ($150 out of Willowbrook.)

Way Too Many Crickets

Someone in Darien just has, and I quote, “way too many crickets at the moment,” about 1,500, and his lizard just can’t eat them all. (You wimp, lizard!) So. Come buy his crickets! Apparently 250 for $9 is a massive discount. Feed them to your pets, or go all Cambodian and fry them in oil for yourself (ew.) Or just keep them around to chirp into silence when attempts at humor fall flat.

Dark Wings, Dark Words 

A cool bit of costuming here: a pair of black-feathered wings. You could be a generic dark, tormented fallen angel… or, ooh, you could be the guy from “Howl’s Moving Castle!” Or anything else these wings happen to fit. Just don’t molt in the punch bowl, please. ($15 from Hinsdale.) 

$500 in Painting Supplies

Buy your painting supplies in bulk from this Willowbrook seller: $520 worth of paint, ladders, drop cloths, tools, “everything you need to start the job!” Well, except cheap labor. That’s what the neighborhood kids are for, right? 

Canal-Side Business Space 

A spot has opened up for a business in downtown Lemont, right on the canal, for a $5,000 rent or a $2.3 million purchase (that “includes additional leased units.) “This property would be ideal for a large restaurant/pub/brewery that would offer live music,” the seller writes.
