Darien Well-Being Check Results In Arrest

In other cases, Darien police arrested two men on charges of DUI.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:

Well-being check

  • Officers responded about 9 a.m. Wednesday to a home in the 1500 block of Sequoia Lane to check on a person's well-being. An officer spoke with the 24-year-old man, who lives at the house and had four DuPage County warrants charging failure to appear in court. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Suspicious person

  • Officers responded about 2:30 p.m. Saturday to a home in the 8000 block of Wildwood Lane to a report of a suspicious person. An officer spoke with the person, a 53-year-old man who lives in the house, and found he had three warrants on charges of driving with a suspended license. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

DUI

  • A 40-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 4 a.m. Sunday near 97th Street and Lemont Road on charges of DUI and driving the wrong way on a divided highway. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • A 30-year-old Darien man who lives in the 7500 block of County Lane was arrested Sunday on charges of DUI, driving an uninsured car and improper lane usage. An officer was called about a car weaving in the lanes near Cass Avenue and 75th Street. The man was released and given a date to appear in court.
