Grand Ave Early Childhood Education celebrates 40 years

For 40 years, parents have trusted Grand Avenue as an important first step in their child’s education. Their flagship location is in downtown Western Springs and last year they opened a Burr Ridge location, replacing their longtime La Grange Highlands facility.

Grand Avenue has programs for children ages 2-6 that focus on the development of the whole child - fully preparing them academically, socially and emotionally for their elementary education years. They strive to nurture self-esteem and independence in each child and to set the stage for future learning through a positive first experience at school.

Programs offered include 2's are Grand, morning and afternoon preschool and afternoon STEAM Kindergarten enrichment. In addition, Grand Avenue offers before and after school programs for children up to 5th grade with bus service available.

Directors Mary Rizzardini and Nancy Hayes have each spent close to 30 years with this local, family-owned business and many of their teachers are also celebrating 20, 15 and 5 year anniversaries.
