Hinsdale Central, Olivet Nazarene University Marching Bands to Hold Public Exhibition in Preparation for Trip to London

The event will take place at Hinsdale Central's Dickenson Field on Oct. 6.

The Hinsdale Central High School Red Devil Marching Band and the Olivet Nazarene University Tiger Marching Band will hold a public exhibition in preparation for their upcoming trips to London. Both bands have been invited to perform at the London New Year’s Day Parade. The exhibition will take place at Hinsdale Central’s Dickenson Field on Tuesday, October 6 at 7:30 p.m.

“If it wasn’t for our participation in London’s New Year’s Day Parade, the Olivet band program and the Hinsdale Central program would likely never cross paths,” said Hinsdale Central Band Director Matt Kurinsky. “This marching exhibition is a great opportunity for us to share our time and talents in a friendly, non-competitive way. While we will not perform together in London, we are sharing a unique musical experience that brings us together for a time.”
