Car Crash Shuts Down Several Roads In Deerfield: Police

DEERFIELD, IL — A traffic crash shut down several roads during the Friday morning commute, according to Deerfield police. Northbound Waukegan Road, at Deerfield Road, and southbound Waukegan Road, at Westgate Road, were shut down for nearly an hour, starting at around 9 a.m.

Officers were on scene working to clear the area as quickly and safely as possible Deerfield police said in a social media post. They were asking motorists to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
