Chamber Holds 50th Golf Outing

If you’re looking for a golf game on the first full day of autumn, the Deerfield Bannockburn Riverwoods Chamber of Commerce has just what you need Monday when its 50th annual golf outing starts at noon with a shotgun start at Ravinia Green Country Club with a dinner at 6 p.m. Lunch and registration begin at 11 a.m.

Library Offers Two Classes Wednesday

Whether you want to learn how to download digital magazines or get some education on college admissions the Deerfield Public Library is the place for you Wednesday. The library will introduce people to Zino, its new digital magazine collection, at 6:30 pm. Half an hour later, at 7 p.m., Pam Cannon and Sandra Gilbert of Ravinia College Consulting will share some of the secrets about selecting the correct school.

Fashion Week in Highland Park

And, for those of you who want to venture east, Fashion Week is going all week in Highland Park with Fashion Night Out on Thursday.
