Crash Causes Heavy Delays On I-94 Near Riverwoods: Police
The southbound lane of the interstate was backed up Tuesday morning due to a stalled vehicle.
RIVERWOODS, IL — Motorists experienced heavy delays Tuesday morning on Interstate 94 near Riverwoods due to a crash, and a subsequent stalled vehicle. Lake County Passage reported at 8:41 a.m. on social media the southbound lane, north of Deerfield Road, was backed up with traffic.
Illinois State Police told Patch at 8:56 a.m. the stalled vehicle has been relocated to the right shoulder, and "traffic should resume to normal once the back-up is cleared out."
