Deerfield Public Library Plans Annual Tournament Of Books

Let the voting begin! We have six brackets again this year in our popular Tournament of Books: picture books, early readers, chapter books, comic books, non-fiction, and Teen books. Last year, you voted ALMOST 17,000 times! That’s almost 3,000 votes every week!

This year, you’ll have a chance to decide if you prefer the ever-popular Elephant & Piggie or the classic Frog & Toad. Who would get your vote: Harry Potter or Percy Jackson? Do you love the Guinness Book of World Records or the Who Would Win books better? Choosing your favorite comic book might be hard: Big Nate or HiLo?

Remember, you can vote AS OFTEN as you’d like! Voting is the only way to make sure your favorite book advances to the next round!

• Round of 32: February 3 to February 16
• Round of 16: February 17 to February 23
• Exciting Eight: February 24 to March 2
• Favorite Four: March 3 to March 9
• Championship Round: March 10 to March 16

The winners in each bracket will be announced March 17.
