Deerfield Ranks In Top 100 Places In U.S. To Drive Stress-Free: Poll

DEERFIELD, IL — While Chicago is known for being a frustrating place to drive at times, Deerfield recently ranked in the top 100 stress-free driving experiences in the United States. Frisco CDJR conducted a poll of 3,000 "seasoned" travelers to name the towns and cities that offered them the most stress-free driving experience.

Deerfield was one of three Illinois towns to make it into the top 100, ranking in at 86th in the nation. The others named in the state were Joliet (22nd) and Mount Vernon (88th).

In its polling, Frisco CDJRJ listed places it said "where drivers are more considerate, roads are less congested, and the journey itself feels like part of the adventure, rather than an obstacle to overcome."

The top 10 spots in the country for stress-free driving, according to Frisco CDJR, are:

1. Lewiston, Maine
2. Pocatello, Idaho
3. Savannah, Georgia
4. Gillette, Wyoming
5. Topeka, Kansas
6. Aberdeen, South Dakota
7. Fargo, North Dakota
8. Germantown, Maryland
9. Casper, Wyoming
10. Newark, Delaware
