Motorcyclist Killed After Hitting Semi On I-94 Near Deerfield: Police
The Thursday afternoon crash shut down traffic on the interstate for several hours.
DEERFIELD, IL — A motorcyclist was killed Thursday afternoon after colliding with a truck tractor semi-trailer on Interstate 94 northbound near Deerfield Road. The accident occurred around 1:46 p.m. and shut down the all lanes of the highway for several hours.
The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Illinois State Police. The driver of the semi did not report any injuries.
All lanes were shut down for the investigation, with all reopened by 4:23 p.m.
