Metra Crossing Closing For Repairs In Deerfield: Village
Motorists are being asked to use alternate routes and use caution when driving near construction zones.

DEERFIELD, IL — The Osterman Avenue rail crossing will close for 10 days starting Monday. According to the Village of Deerfield, repairs will begin at 9 a.m. and motorists are being asked to find alternate routes.
Metra crews have installed warning signs ahead of the upcoming closure. The Village is working with the Hazel Avenue contractor to reopen the road this week to provide another option for crossing the train tracks before the Osterman closure.
Once completed, the Village said the crossing will return to normal operations.
