DEERFIELD, IL — A pedestrian was struck by an Amtrak train Tuesday morning near Lake Cook Road in Deerfield. Metra officials said at 10:10 a.m. inbound trains are moving intermittently but are not stopping at Deerfield and Lake Cook Road due to the incident.

According to Metra, outbound movement from Lake Forest to Fox Lake remains halted. Updates will be provided.
