Semi Jammed Under Deerfield Road Viaduct Closes Road

A semi-truck got wedged underneath the Deerfield Road viaduct Monday evening, shutting down the road, according to Deerfield police.

The department posted a photo on its Facebook page of the truck, with its trailer scrunched underneath the overpass around 7:30 p.m. As of 8:10 p.m., when the department posted a video of the truck, the road was still closed in both directions.

One commenter joked: “Bridge:117 Trucks:0.......still undefeated”

The road opened back up around 10 p.m., according to the police Facebook page.
