Semi-Truck Gets Stuck Under Viaduct, Closes Deerfield Road: Police
Police were asking motorists to find an alternate route following the Thursday afternoon incident.
DEERFIELD, IL — A semi-truck was stuck under the viaduct on Deerfield Road Thursday, closing down the both the eastbound and westbound lanes between Chestnut Street and Robert York Avenue. Police sent out a road closure alert at around 1:40 p.m.
Police were asking motorist to find an alternate route following the incident. Later in the day, police said the roadway was clear.
