Open Chicago, the annual conference of Pakistani-American business and professional organizations, was held in Chicago. The event featured a lively discussion on leadership and community development.

Open Chicago’s annual conference brought together business people, students and entrepreneurs on a platform at the Governor Richard B. Ogilvy Auditorium in downtown Chicago. This year’s theme was Ideas to Impact. The conference aimed to foster collaboration, mentorship and innovation among Pakistani-American professionals. The event was hosted by the executive committee, which included Aamir Chalisa, Babar Rathore, Nadia Kamal, Asif Hussain, Haris Ahmed and Sadia Rimsha. Speakers said that Open aims to provide opportunities and mentorship to our new generation so that they can make an impact on the global stage. The conference was attended by prominent figures from the fields of technology, health, journalism and leadership. Keynote speakers included Tariq Khan, Khan Siddiqui, Ayesha Tanzeem and Naveed Sherwani. Topics such as Healthcare and AI and Building Bridges for Growth were discussed in various panels. Participants shared their successes, experiences and challenges. Earlier speakers He said that the Open Chicago conference is a testament to the Pakistani-American community’s leadership potential in the fields of entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership. A special session of dialogue between the younger generation strengthened the connection between experienced leaders and the new generation. The highlight of the Pitch & Open was that emerging startups presented their ideas. Divergent was declared the winner of the competition and received a cash prize of $5,000. Open Chicago President Babar Rathore and others said that our goal is not just to network but to create impact. We want the success of the Pakistani-American community to be recognized globally. The conference was attended by more than 150 participants representing various industries and institutions. Networking and collaborative sessions made the event memorable.
