12 Bottles Of Tequila Stolen From Amazon Fresh In Westmont
Police say a woman stole tequila, paper towels and other items from the store on 63rd Street.

WESTMONT, IL — Police say a woman stole 12 bottles of tequila and other items from the Amazon Fresh Store in Westmont, according to the village's crime blotter.
Officers were called to the store at 30 W. 63rd St. around 9:12 p.m. on Sept. 2 for a reported retail theft. When police got to the scene, an employee told them they saw a woman putting bottles of alcohol into a cart before heading to a self-checkout.
The employee told police the woman paid for Vaseline and cotton swabs before leaving without paying for the remaining items in her cart.

Police say the woman got into a newer gray Honda CRV that was driven by a man. The employee told officers a black sedan also left the parking lot around the same time.
Less than 10 minutes later, Clarendon Hills police pulled over a gray Honda CRV they had spotted in the Whole Foods parking lot at 6300 Kingery Hwy and stopped it near the intersection of Route 83 and 55th Street.

Police say the passenger and the car's registered owner, identified as Courtney Nicholson, 35, had two Amazon Fresh bags of alcohol, but said she had thrown away her receipt.
Officers arrested Nicholson for retail theft and said they would tow the car, at which time the driver asked to retrieve a duffel bag. Police say the duffel bag had nearly two dozen bottles of alcohol inside.
Police say the Amazon Fresh bags contained the following items:
- Four 750 ml bottles of Milgaro tequila
- Two 750 ml bottles of Don Julio tequila
- Two 750 ml bottles of Don Julio Blanco Anejo tequila
- Two 750 ml bottles of Teremano Tequila Anejo
- Two 750 ml bottles of Teremano Tequila Reposado
- Pack of paper towels
- Shea moisture conditioner
The total loss was valued at $509.86.
