Downers Grove Museum 831 Maple Ave. Downers Grove
Thrill-seekers who are 18 and older are invited to explore the village's eerie side with a tour that kicks off at Downers Grove Museum. The evening takes you to Lincoln Center and Main Street Cemetery for more spooky investigation with the help of paranormal experts. Appetizers and nonalcoholic drinks will be served.

Trick-or-Treat Trail
Oct. 26 at 10 a.m.
McCollum Park, 6801 Main St., Downers Grove
Kids three to 12 years old can dress in their Halloween costumes and stroll through McCollum Park, where other characters will pass out candy and other goodies. The event includes a touch-a-truck activity in the parking lot.

Boo Fest at Blodgett House
Oct. 31 at 3 p.m.
Downers Grove Museum, 831 Maple Ave. Downers Grove
Blodgett House will be decked out in scary decor for Boo Fest, a free Halloween celebration that's open to all ages. Visitors can trick-or-treat, play Halloween-inspired games and take part in a scavenger hunt.
No registration is required.
Wicked West Fest In Westmont
Throughout the month of October, nearby Westmont will celebrate Wicked West Fest. This year's festivities include a vampire murder mystery game, pumpkin painting, a casket race and other horrifying happenings.
