Advocate Health Care Moving Corporate HQ to Downers Grove
Advocate, the state's largest health system, will relocate its Oak Brook and Touhy support centers to 3075 Highland Parkway this spring, officials announced Friday.

Advocate Health Care, the state’s largest health system, is moving its corporate headquarters from Oak Brook to Downers Grove.
Advocate will move about 600 employees to Highland Landmark I, a seven-story building at 3075 Highland Parkway. The company will occupy three and a half floors by late spring, Advocate officials said in a statement.
Officials said they will relocate two system support centers to Downers Grove, one from Oak Brook and the other from Park Ridge.

Advocate recently decided to create a new centralized business office (CBO) at its current campus, 2025 Windsor Drive in Oak Brook. The CBO will combine all of Advocate’s Chicago area patient access/registration and patient accounting operations into a single department, officials said.
“We are very fortunate and pleased that we will soon call Downers Grove home to our corporate support center,” Advocate President and CEO Jim Skogsbergh said in a statement. “The new space allows us to bring the unique disciplines of more than 600 employees from our Support Center locations together in an integrated team environment.”

Advocate made its decision to turn its Oak Brook campus into a CBO after reviewing 50 different sites across the state, officials said.
“We put a lot of time and thought into creating an ideal business office that would bring together ourtalented revenue staff in one central location,” said Dominic Nakis, Advocate's chief financial officer. “Our Oak Brook space meets all of the requirements for establishing a state-of-the-art CBO, including its size and centralized location.”
Advocate leaders said they selected the Downers Grove location because of their strong relationship with the village, primarily through Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital. Good Samaritan, which employs more than 2,600 people, has been located in Downers Grove for 36 years.
“We are honored that the state’s largest health care system has selected our community for their new headquarters” Downers Grove Mayor Martin Tully said in a statement. “Downers Grove will now be home to both Advocate Health Care and one of its premier hospitalsm Advocate Good Samaritan.”
Advocate, which brought in $4.44 billion in revenue in 2011, has 10 acute-care hospitals and two children's hospitals, according to Crain's Chicago Business. It has been headquartered in Oak Brook since 1995.
