Armed Robbers Knock Off Westmont Bank: FBI

One man showed a handgun during the Jan. 7 bank robbery on Cass Avenue.

Two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed a West Suburban Bank around 12:15 p.m. Jan. 7 at 6400 S. Cass Ave. in Westmont.

The FBI describes one of the men as in his 30s or 40s, 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses, dark jeans and black shoes. This man showed a handgun during the robbery.

The other man is described as 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall with a medium to large build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and white tennis shoes with red laces, according to information on the FBI-run website BanditTrackerChicago.
