Back To School: District 99 2024-25 Academic Calendar
Students return Aug. 16 to Community High School District 99 for the start of a new school year.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — There are just a few short weeks of summer left until students head back to school. Back-to-school planning has already begun at Community High School District 99, with calendars available to help parents prepare their children for a smooth transition into the 2024-2025 school year.
The first day of school is set for Aug. 16 for all District 99 students.

Sept. 2: Labor Day; no school

Oct. 11: Conferences; no student attendance
Oct. 14: No school
Nov. 5: Election Day; no school
Nov. 27-Nov. 29: Thanksgiving recess
Dec. 20 - Jan. 3: Winter Break
Jan. 6: Teacher Institute; no school
Jan. 20: Martin Luther King Jr. Day; no school
Feb. 17: Presidents' Day; no school
Feb. 28: County Institute Day; no school for students
March 28-April 4: Spring Break
April 18: No school
May 18: Graduation
May 23: Second semester ends
May 26: Memorial Day; no school
May 27: Teacher Institute; no school
May 28 - May 30: Emergency Days
June 2 - June 3: Emergency Days
June 19: Juneteenth; no school
