Best Spots For Sledding In Downers Grove
With snow continuing to fall throughout Tuesday night, and winter weather expected over the weekend, local kids have been eager to sled.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — With a few inches of snow on the ground as of Tuesday, kids in Downers Grove were likely to look forward to the possibility of heading out to the village's sledding hills.
In Downers Grove, sledding in available at the following locations when weather permits:
- Gilbert Park, 1500 Gilbert Ave.
- O'Brien Park, 6909 S. Dunham Rd.
- Concord Square Park, Springside and Concord
- Ebersold Park, 59th and Main Street
Residents can go sledding anytime between 8:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. daily, but the Downers Grove Park District advises that sledding is to be done at the participant's own risk.
