Free Dental Checkups Available For Kids In DuPage County

DuPage County Health Department will offer free dental screenings as part of the American Dental Association's "Give Kids A Smile Day."

DUPAGE COUNTY — Kids can get dental screenings at no cost when the DuPage County Health Department takes part in the American Dental Association's "Give Kids A Smile Day." Appointments are required for the March 1 event, which also includes a free dental health kit.

DCHD has taken part in the American Dental Association's "Give Kids a Smile Day" for nine years. During this time, county dentists have performed more than 2,400 free dental screenings on hundreds of children who live in DuPage County.

To be eligible, children must be school age and live in DuPage County. Appointments will be conducted at the DCHD Central Public Health Center, 111 N. County Farm Rd., Wheaton.
