Gun, Cash Stolen From Apartment In Downers Grove: Police
Police say an apartment was burglarized in the 2100 block of Prentiss Drive.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — A gun and $6,000 in cash were stolen from an apartment in Downers Grove in mid-February, according to police.
The burglary took place in the 2100 block of Prentiss Drive sometime between Feb. 9 and Feb. 16 while the resident was away.
Police were alerted to the incident after the resident returned home around 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 16. The resident said that along with the Taurus handgun and $6,000 in cash, an Xbox system had been stolen.
