Man Accused Of Exposing Self In Dollar Tree Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — A Downers Grove man was charged with public indecency after police say he exposed himself to an employee at a Dollar Tree store in late July.

Miles Young, 36, was arrested July 26 in connection with the incident.

Police were called to the store at 2075 63rd St. at 9:45 p.m. for a report that a man had exposed himself.

When officers got to the scene, an employee told them Young had followed her through the store while she was stocking items. According to a police report, the employee later saw the man "a few feet away from her back" in the center aisle of the store with the "front of his pants down" and "displaying his fully erect penis."

The employee told the store manager, who contacted police. Officer say they found Young behind the store and took him into custody without incident.

Young was later released and is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 26.
