O'Neill Students to perform 'Aladdin, Jr'

O’Neill Middle School in Downers Grove Grade School District 58 invites the public to attend its spring musical, “Aladdin, Jr.” The show will take place Monday, March 21 and Tuesday, March 22 at 7 p.m. at O’Neill Middle School, 635 59th St. Tickets cost $5 and may be purchased at the door. Children under 2 may enter for free.

Aladdin, Jr., is a dynamic adaptation of the classic Disney film and features a 95-person cast and crew. The show will showcase the popular songs, “A Whole New World,” “One Jump Ahead” and “Friend Like Me,” and stars Logan Henderson and Jacob Casella as Aladdin, Kyra Cain and Matigan Gray as Jasmine, and Amber Kass as Genie. O’Neill teachers Janet Hecht and Jo Callaghan direct the musical.

“Aladdin, Jr., features incredible singing, dancing and acting from our talented O'Neill students,” Hecht said. “I invite families across District 58 to attend a performance. It’s an entertaining show for all ages!”
