Purge Old Documents At Shred Event At Downers Grove Village Hall
Residents can bring documents to be shredded at a free event slated for April 30 at Downers Grove Village Hall.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Residents can get a head start on their spring cleaning by bringing old documents to a paper shredding event set for April 30 at Downers Grove Village Hall.
Each resident can bring up to two grocery-style brown paper bags or one banker's box to be shredded onsite with a crosscut paper shredder courtesy of Accurate Document Destruction. Attendees must present proof that they are residents of Downers Grove.
If you attend the paper shredding event, head to 801 Burlington Ave. and pull into the fenced parking lot that's just off Curtiss Street. Residents are asked to remain in their cars, as someone from the Downers Grove Police Department will remove boxed and bagged paper items from the trunk/cargo section of the vehicle.
