Registration Open For Herrick's Summer Sports Camps

Herrick Middle School will hold a variety of co-ed summer sports camps for children entering fifth through eighth grades. Each camp runs for one week, and campers will receive one-on-one instruction, structured skill work and game play, and a camp T-shirt.

Camps are open to any incoming fifth through eighth grader who resides within District 58 boundaries. Each camp session is limited to the first 50 students who register.

Volleyball and basketball camps cost $40 each, and the cross country camp costs $25. Registration forms and payment are due to Herrick Middle School by May 20, 2016. Checks may be written to the Herrick Activity Fund, attention Gail Pistello.

Cross Country: June 13-17
Session 1: 8:30-10 a.m. for fifth through eighth graders

Volleyball #1: June 20-24
Session 2: 8:30-10 a.m. for seventh graders
Session 3: 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for eighth graders
Session 4: 1-2:30 p.m. for fifth and sixth graders

Basketball #1: July 11-July 15
Session 5: 8:30-10 a.m. for fifth and sixth graders
Session 6: 10 a.m.-12 p.m. for seventh graders
Session 7: 12:30-2:30 p.m. for eighth graders

Basketball #2: Aug. 8-12
Session 8: 8:30-10 a.m. for fifth and sixth graders
Session 9: 10 a.m.-12 p.m. for seventh graders
Session 10: 12:30-2:30 p.m. for eighth graders

Volleyball #2: Aug. 15-19
Session 11: 8:30-10:30 a.m. for seventh graders
