Sculpture Locations Unveiled For Ice Fest In Downers Grove

A total of 60 ice sculptures will be on display outside of local businesses in Downers Grove for the 2025 Ice Festival.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — As Ice Fest 2025 approaches, Downtown Downers Grove has unveiled the map of where attendees can find 60 ice sculptures throughout the village.

Set for Jan. 31 through Feb. 2, the three-day festival also features live ice carving demonstrations throughout the weekend at Main and Curtiss or the Main Street Station. Below is the schedule for ice carving demos:

Jan. 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Main and Curtiss

Feb. 1 and Feb. 2 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Main Street Station

Visitors can use this ice sculpture map to find frozen depictions of a giraffe, a swan, a wizard, a snowman and more. There will also be sculptures of beloved characters, including Charizard, Olaf and Stitch.

Some businesses will feature their logos carved in ice, whereas other businesses will display ice sculptures that are on theme with their offerings. Bubbly Side of Life, for instance, will have a champagne bottle and Magnolia Soap & Bath Co. will feature a vintage bathtub brimming with icy bubbles.

Among the 60 sculptures, there are also interactive designs, such as a Connect 4-style game at Burlington Station and a kissing booth at Rocco & Rocco.
