Tickets Still Available for Downers Grove 'Wedding Walk'

More than 30 wedding professionals will gather in downtown Downers Grove Sunday for a day of planning and giveaways for brides-to-be.

The third annual "Wedding Walk" will be held from noon to 4 p.m. throughout the downtown area. Tickets cost $25 and include the bride and two guests.

Check-in runs from noon to 2 p.m. at Gatto's Italian Restaurant, 5123 Main St.

Upon checking in, brides will receive a swag bag, a map of the Wedding Walk route and a list of participating businesses. They will then enjoy an afternoon of planning, tastings, samples and inspiration as wedding professionals showcase the latest trends in photography, cuisine, gifts and flowers.

All brides present will have a chance to win more than $5,000 in prizes and giveaways, including $2,500 toward the honeymoon of their dreams. At least 50 percent of the bride's designated card must be stamped to be eligible for prizes and giveaways at the wrap party, which will begin at 4 p.m. at the Tivoli Theatre, 5021 Highland Ave.

Brides must be present to win.
