Village of Downers Grove Offers Defensive Driving Course for Teens

The free "Alive at 25 Defensive Driving Program" will be held Saturday, March 9, at Downers Grove Village Hall.

The Downers Grove Police Department is offering a four-hour safe driving course for teens.

The Alive at 25 Defensive Driving Program will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at Downers Grove Village Hall, 801 Burlington Ave. The course is free, and open to all drivers under the age of 18 who are enrolled at North or South high schools.

Alive at 25 is a National Safety Council program that focuses on specific errors made by new drivers that often lead to accidents, according to village officials.
