Woodridge Police Reports: Theft, Property Damage

The Woodridge Police Department reported crimes and arrests through Jan. 22

A theft occurred around 1 p.m. Jan. 15 at Jefferson Junior High School, 7200 Janes Ave. Someone took a cell phone that had been left unattended.

A theft occurred around 8:04 p.m. Jan. 15 at Hollywood Boulevard, 1001 75th St. Someone removed the contents of an unattended wallet.

At about 12:15 p.m. Jan. 16, Samantha Lanigan, 21 of the 2700 block of 63rd Street in Woodridge was charged with retail theft after removing items of jewelry from Kohl’s, 1001 75th St., without paying.

A retail theft occurred sometime between 1:40 p.m. and 1:59 p.m. Jan. 19 at JC Penney, 7400 Woodward Ave. A man removed several bottles of cologne without paying.

At about 9:32 p.m. Jan. 21, Donald Etges, 41 of the 100 block of Hamilton Street in Lockport, was charged with criminal damage to property following the investigation of a disturbance in the 8100 block of Route 53.
