Woodridge Police Reports: Underage Drinking, Car Burglary, Flag Theft

The Woodridge Police Department reported crimes and arrests through March 18.

At about 9:24 p.m. March 11, Vanessa Mendoza, 35 of the 6700 block of Patton Drive in Woodridge, was charged with contributing to the criminal delinquency of a juvenile following the investigation of a report of underage drinking in the 6700 block of Patton Drive.

At about 10:31a.m. March 12, Denver Hinkle, 64 of the 3900 block of Main Street in Downers Grove, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop in the 5600 block of Lenox Road, Lisle.

At approximately 8:21 p.m. March 12, Alexandru Rusu, 26 of the 8000 block of Janes Avenue in Woodridge, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop in the 2300 block of 75th Street.

At about 1:21 a.m. March 13, Mykola Mykytyuk, 20 of the 10500 block of Palos Place in Palos Hills, was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor following the investigation of a parked car in a parking lot on 75th Street.

A car burglary occurred sometime between 11:30 p.m. March 14 and 9:15 a.m. March 15 in the 2500 block of Burr Ridge Court. Someone made entry into an unlocked, parked car and took miscellaneous coins.

A theft occurred sometime between 10 p.m. March 14 and 8 a.m. March 15 in the 2000 block of Wheeler Street. Someone removed an American flag from the front porch of a residence.

A theft occurred sometime between March 3 and March 15 in the 7100 block of Janes Avenue. Someone took nine personal computers from a closed business.

A car burglary occurred sometime between 6 p.m. March 16 and 10:15 a.m. March 17 in the 7700 block of Deer Drive. Someone entered an unlocked, parked car and took a gym bag containing workout equipment.
