Elgin Police Search For Suspect Seen Exposing Self Near School
Elgin police said two incidents were reported involving the same male suspect.
ELGIN, IL β The Elgin Police Department said officers were given a report at 3:44 p.m. Tuesday about two recent exposure incidents involving the same person. According to police, the suspect was seen exposing himself Friday in the 200 block of Oak Street while a parent was picking up a child from school in the afternoon. Police said the same parent saw the suspect expose himself again on Tuesday.
The suspect is described as a thin white man between the ages of 60 and 70, with long gray-colored hair, and a full beard. He was seen wearing a key chain around his neck, dark jeans and no shirt, police said.
According to police, the suspect didn't make any contact with the child or parent. Detectives are investigating and looking for more information in these incidents, police said.

Officers are routinely in school areas during arrival and dismissal times, and Elgin police ask anyone who sees something suspicious to please reach out to them immediately, or call 911.
