The incumbents often file later during the filing period. Three seats are up.

ELMHURST, IL – One candidate has filed so far for the three seats available in the April 1 election for the Elmhurst School District 205 board.

The incumbents whose seats are up are board President Athena Arvanitis and members Kara Caforio and Jim Collins.
Collins is the longest-serving board member, having started in 2009. In the 2021 election, he was the top vote-getter.
A couple of months ago, Arvanitis, as president, removed Collins as the finance committee chairman, replacing him with Caforio.
