14 Cited At Elmhurst Restaurant For Liquor Violations: Cops

Two employees were charged with selling to minors.

ELMHURST, IL – Fourteen people, including two employees, were cited last week on liquor-related charges, authorities said.

Police said the citations were issued about 10:20 p.m. Thursday at Amigas Restaurant, 671 W. North Ave.

The employees, a 41-year-old Carol Stream man and a 27-year-old Medinah man, were cited on charges of selling liquor to minors.

Eleven of the minors, all 18-year-olds and 19-year-olds, were from Elmhurst, police said. The other was from Elburn. They were all cited with consumption of alcohol by minors. Three of the minors were women.

Two were charged with false use of identification, while another was charged with possession of a fictitious driver's license, police said.
