Alleged Kohl's Thief Busted with Heroin: Police

A Berwyn woman was arrested for returning stolen merchandise and drug possession.

Elmhurst, IL - A Berwyn woman was arrested April 14 after she allegedly returned stolen items at a Kohl's.

Elmhurst police followed a suspicious car around 7:55 p.m. from the parking lot of Kohl's, 303 IL-83 in Elmhurst, to the North Riverside Kohl's, according to Elmhurst police.

At the North Riverside Kohl's, Jessica Good, 20 of the 3100 block of East Avenue in Berwyn, returned merchandise that was found to be stolen from the Elmhurst Kohl's, police reported.

Good was also found to have heroin and drug paraphernalia. She was arrested, charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and retail theft, and she was taken to the station.

The driver of the car, Erik Witteck, 21 of the 1000 block of David Drive in Bensenville, was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia, police reported. He was cited and released at the scene.
