Elmhurst police were called Jan. 12 around 1:46 p.m. to Chipotle, 353 South Illinois Route 83 in Elmhurst, for reports of a person stealing money from the tip jar.Police found the man, William Crimmins, 37 of the 300 block of E. Robinson Street in Wayne City, and searched him, revealing a white powdery substance in his pocket, according to Elmhurst police.Police report Crimmins resisted arrest. He was charged with theft, possession of a controlled substance, disorderly conduct, possession of cannabis and resisting a peace officer, and he was taken to Dupage County Jail, police reported.Photo courtesy of Elmhurst police.
