Counterfeit Suspects Hit Elmhurst Shop: Cops
In another case, an Elmhurst woman was charged with domestic battery in a local neighborhood, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of passing a counterfeit bill, domestic battery, aggravated fleeing and DUI. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst arrest log:
Passing counterfeit
- Joseph C. Green, 30, and Marquise V. Garner, 26, both of Chicago, were arrested on charges of delivering forged documents. Police said the men used a counterfeit bill about 1 p.m. Sunday at Carmie Cakes, 158 N. York St. They were taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Domestic battery

- A 33-year-old Elmhurst woman who lives in the 300 block of East Ridge Avenue was arrested about 4:30 p.m. Thursday at her house on a domestic battery charge. Police said the woman admitted to pushing a man. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Aggravated fleeing
- Deshan Wilder, 38, of Chicago, was arrested about 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Butterfield Road and Route 83 on charges of aggravated fleeing and eluding (two counts), reckless driving (two counts), driving with a revoked license, speeding, aggravated speeding in a construction zone and improper lane usage. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
DUI

- Carla Heard, 37, of Broadview, was arrested about 9 p.m. Sunday in the 900 block of South Spring Road on charges of aggravated DUI with a child passenger, failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash, improper lane usage, driving an uninsured car and marijuana possession. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- A 33-year-old Bensenville woman was arrested about 3 p.m. Thursday at Robert Palmer Drive and Schiller Street on charges of DUI (drugs), resisting a police officer, obstructing a police officer, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding and driving an uninsured car. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
