The local Fannie May chocolate shop was at 1001 75th St. in Woodridge, just outside of Darien's city limit. It was in the Woodgrove Festival shopping center, which includes Kohl's. Nearby shops are at 2205 S. Ogden Ave. in Downers Grove and 6300 S. Kingery Highway in Willowbrook. Fannie May had 62 stores as of last week, about three-quarters of which are in Illinois, according to the ScrapeHero website. The chain is limited to five Midwestern states. Fannie May is based in Chicago.
