Death Notices: Delphine Kroeger, Carl Ciciora

Memorial, Mass will be held Saturday, May 18, in Elmhurst.

Delphine Janan Kroeger

Delphine Janan Kroeger (nee Lewis), 86, a lifelong Elmhurst resident, died April 22. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard F. "Bud" Kroeger.

Mrs. Kroeger was a devoted homemaker for many years, and she also worked for several Elmhurst medical practices before retiring in 1986. She is survived by her five children and six grandchildren.

A memorial gathering will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 18, at Visitation Catholic Church, 779 S. York St., Elmhurst. A Mass will follow at 10:45 a.m. Interment is private.

Carl Ciciora

Carl Alexander Ciciora, 56, of St. Louis, formerly of Elmhurst, died suddenly on May 1. He was preceded in death by his mother, Vera, and his brother, David.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; his father, Alexander; five siblings and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Ciciora graduated from York High School and the University of Illinois Institute of Aviation.

A memorial will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at Grotto, 3011 Butterfield Road, Oak Brook.
