Dr. Thomas Pozen

Dr. Thomas J. Pozen, 73, a staff member at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital for 39 years, has died.

Dr. Pozen was a physician in solo practice for 30 years, at Elmhurst Clinic for nine of those years. He specialized in internal medicine.

He is survived by his wife, Jaclynn; his children, Thomas, Gregory, Matthew and Jeffrey; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 24, at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 S. York Road, Elmhurst. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, at Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 426 N. West Ave., Elmhurst

George Leveille

George W. Leveille, 92, a long-time resident of Elmhurst, has died.

Mr. Leveille was an Army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, and his children, Nancy and Michael.

He is survived by his children, Margaret, George, James, Barbara, Marilyn and Forrest, his 27 grandchildren and his 13 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, June 24, at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 S. York, Elmhurst.
