Funeral information for three with strong ties to Elmhurst.

Edward Iverson

Edward Ralph Iverson, 90, died Monday, Aug. 19. He was a US Army veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Hildegard, and his daughter, Donna.

Mr. Iverson will lie in state from 10 a.m. to the time of service at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 142 E. Third St., Elmhurst. Interment is at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Bensenville.

Arthur Caruso

Arthur J. Caruso, 93, of Elmhurst, has died. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

Mr. Caruso was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly, and his son, Arthur. He is survived by his son, William, and his three grandchildren.

Services were held Wednesday at Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Elmhurst.

Salee Jenkins

Salee A. Jenkins (nee Acherbach) PhD, 64, died Aug. 12. She was a prominent psychoanalyst and an adjunct faculty member at Northwestern University, and she was a faculty member at Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; her children, Elizabeth, Stephen and Rebecca; her father, Troy; and her two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, at Hammerschmidt Chapel, Elmhurst College, 190 S. Prospect Ave.
