Death Notices: Kathryn Diamond, Bob Rowan, Michael Cook
Two men from Elmhurst and one woman formerly of Elmhurst will be laid to rest.

Kathryn Diamond
Kathryn A. "Kay" Diamond (nee Dobbin), 95, formerly of Elmhurst, has died. She was a life member of the Girl Scouts of America and was president of the DuPage County Council from 1950 to 1972.
Mrs. Diamond was preceded in death by her husband, William. She is survived by her children, Judith, Jannes and Jean; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Sunday and will continue from 9:30 a.m. Monday to the time of funeral at 10:30 a.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 S. York Road, Elmhurst.

Bob Rowan
Bob Rowan, 90, of Elmhurst, died Thursday, July 18.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann. He is survived by his children, Barbara, Susan and Bobbie, his seven grandchildren and his 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, at First Congregational Church, 235 S. Kenilworth Ave., Elmhurst. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at Mount Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst.

Michael Cook
Michael Cook, 63, of Elmhurst, has died.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerome, and his brother, John.
He is survived by his daughter, Megan, and many siblings, nieces and nephews.
