Timothy O'Leary, 89, of Elmhurst, has died. He was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 73.

He was preceded in death by his children, Jimmy and Maureen. He is survived by his wife, Mary, his children, Kathleen, Timothy, Patrick, Anne Marie and Clare, and nine grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 S. York Road, Elmhurst. A funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 24, at the funeral home.

Jean Payne

Jean E. Payne, 84, of Elmhurst, has died.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, and her son, Richard II. She is survived by her children, Kathleen, Nancy, Mary, Maureen, Joseph, Daniel, Suzanne, Margaret and Eileen, and her 65 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 S. York Road, Elmhurst. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon Friday, Jan. 24, at Visitation Church, 779 S. York Road, Elmhurst.

William Cathcart Jr.

William Gray Cathcart Jr. has died. He was a retired commercial real estate broker, longtime member of Elmhurst Rotary Club, past board member of Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce and Elmhurst YMCA, past coach for Elmhurst Little League and former chairman of the DuPage Counsel of the Boy Scouts of America.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie, and his son, Donald. He is survived by his children, Stephen and Thomas, and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, at Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Road, Elmhurst. Services and interment are private.

William Funchess

William A. Funchess, 56, of Elmhurst, has died. He was a freelance videographer for Comcast and beloved soccer coach.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Janet, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, at Pedersen Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York St., Elmhurst. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at the mortuary.

Henry Vande Kerhoff

LCDR (Ret) Henry "Van" T. Vande Kerhoff Sr., 94, of Elmhurst, has died. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola, and his son, Henry Jr. He is survived by his children, Barbara, Patricia, Charlene and Joseph, 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Services were held Jan. 21 at Visitation Church in Elmhurst.
