Reposting for a resident who found a dog on Sunday morning:
"A small, light brown, terrier-like dog was found at Commonwealth and Roosevelt Road near Lexington Square of Elmhurst at around 5 a.m. Sunday, July 21. The dog has no collar or tags, and looks like Benji. Looks like it may have been out in the heat and rain for awhile. It was well-fed but smelled awful. An Elmhurst officer came and picked up the dog, so please contact the Elmhurst Police for more information.
